Just Add Water
Yesterday, Miss Grace played happily in the bathtub for nearly two hours.
She did this same thing a couple other times this past week.
(Is this bad parenting? I keep wondering, but I can't really think of a reason why. She is supervised, playing (rather than watching TV), and enjoying herself. Yes her skin is wrinkled, but...? Is it different from letting her go swimming? If not, then why do I feel slightly guilty?)
Today she didn't bother with the whole get naked / remove diaper / add water routine. She just took care of the essentials herself.
Today she probably spent well over an hour playing in the tub with her toys.
I know *I* enjoyed it.

OK I'll Admit It
I'm cold.
I think it's been a pretty mild winter here, so far. By this time last year, we'd had much more snow. Although a lady in WalMart told me that this one is normal, so I don't know. I could handle it all right last year, though, so I guess it's funny that I think this is mild.
But really, it hasn't been all that cold - mostly the temps seem to have hovered in the 50s and 60s I think. Except for that cold snap last fall when Robert's car froze to death, of course.
But yesterday we woke up to a little bit of snow. It snowed lightly all day, and it was cold. Today, the same. There isn't a lot of accumulation, but it's cold. It was 9 degrees when I took the kids to school and by the time I picked up Josh it had warmed all the way up to 11.
Doesn't bother me at all when I don't have to go out, but I had big Wally World shopping to do today. And after I shopped and I went to pay I realized I'd left my wallet in the car. (I know, surprise, surprise) Had to go back OUT and then back IN and then back OUT again to my car. But that's how I do it.
Speaking of which, have you seen the new TV show Howie Do It with Howie Mandel? Have I asked you that before? It's pretty funny.
