Walk in Newness of Life

Christianne was one of four teenagers baptized at church this weekend. My video recording skills apparently are non-existent, but thankfully we got some pictures taken by one of the youth leaders. Hopefully we'll snag a video from someone else soon as well.

Giving her testimony:
Prayer by one of our pastors:
Baptized by her daddy. What a privilege!

In our church, as the one baptizing brings the person up out of the water, he says, "Walk in newness of life!" and the church body says, "Until the end ~ forevermore!"
Beautiful.

I am Jesus’ little lamb,
Ever glad at heart I am;
For my Shepherd gently guides me,
Knows my need and well provides me,
Loves me ev’ry day the same,
Even calls me by my name.

Day by day, at home, away,
Jesus is my staff and stay.
When I hunger, Jesus feeds me,
Into pleasant pastures leads me;
When I thirst, He bids me go
Where the quiet waters flow.

Who so happy as I am,
Even now the Shepherd’s lamb?
And when my short life is ended,
By His angel host attended,
He shall fold me to His breast,
There within His arms to rest.

Congratulations, Chrisi! You are very special. Someone I thank God for.

How awesome and a double blessing for Robert to be able to do the baptising. Chris-Miss - I have been so blessed to be able to witness so many wonderful things in your life but this is the best. May God continue to bless you as you have been such a blessing to us.
I love you.
