Pretty in Pink

Having an arm 3x the size of her other one hasn't slowed Miss G down a bit. She still jumps on the stairs (shudder), climbs, and does whatever else she can:

Today was her scheduled appointment with orthopaedics. We were half an hour late because of something funky going on the freeway. We literally sat with our engines off for half an hour before I figured out how to go off-road and get off the freeway. Anyway, we made it fine and didn't have to wait too long before being ushered into the office. Isn't this pathetic?

She was really in no discomfort - just acting for the camera. Got her splint removed...

And here's her pretty little wrist - no bruising and minimal swelling. Looks good!

On with the new cast. Although she only needs a half-arm cast, they had to do a full-arm cast because evidently young ones like Grace are master escape artists. (Not much surprise there.) Gracie won brownie points by knowing all the colors for the cast options. :) She never took her eyes off the cast guy.
